Indian captain, Rohit Sharma, opted not to respond to a question concerning Pakistan, displaying his intention to avoid any potential controversies.

During an event in the United States, he was asked to identify the most challenging bowler from the Pakistani team in preparation for the upcoming Asia Cup, scheduled for the later part of this month.

Sharma diplomatically refrained from singling out any individual Pakistani pacer, asserting that all of them possess comparable skill and prowess.

“All the pacers in Pakistan team are equally good. I will not pick any individual. It creates a big controversy,” Rohit said.

He articulated that the act of naming one bowler would inadvertently lead to others feeling slighted, thus preferring to acknowledge the collective competence of the entire Pakistani pace bowling lineup.

“If I will take one player’s name, the second will feel bad. If I will take second player’s name, then the third will feel bad. I think all of them are good,” he added.
