Quetta Gladiators' captain, Rilee Rossouw, shared his thoughts on various aspects of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine, shedding light on key players and strategies.

In an exclusive interview with Cricket Pakistan, regarding Mohammad Amir's potential return to international cricket, Rossouw expressed confidence in the left-arm pacer's abilities and acknowledged Amir's caliber as a world-class player.

"My opinion is whatever a player wants to do, they will go and do it. So if he wants to go back and play international cricket, I am pretty sure he can make it to Pakistan side again. He is a fantastic world class cricket player but yeah like I said, I am not too sure what his thoughts are and the way he wants to be. I just know he is performing in whatever circuit he is playing in and it is a good news for Quetta Gladiators," Rossouw said.

Reflecting on Saud Shakeel's impressive T20 transformation, Rossouw lauded the batsman's stellar performance throughout the tournament. He also highlighting Saud's resilience and adaptability after a prolonged wait to play.

"I think Saud Shakeel has been one of our better batting performers throughout this whole competition and he's come in after a couple of years of waiting to play and he's really put up his hand phenomenally like really good. He's batted really well and so good to see from Quetta Gladiators fan point of view that he's doing well and that too top of the order, it's not always easy and he's really just like flourished in that department," he further added.

When asked about facing Babar Azam as a competitor, he acknowledged Babar's status as a world-class cricketer.

"I think he is world class cricket player. He is a professional; he does cricket really well, better than most people out there. He is a very enjoyable, loving guy," he concluded.
