Left-arm seamer Rumman Raees, who has been missing in action on the international stage due to a series of injuries has claimed that he is ready to push for a comeback now.

Speaking in an interview with a local digital media outlet, Rumman said that he is still enjoying playing cricket as much as he did before.

“I try to play good cricket as much as possible and to enjoy my cricket. I have been injured during the peak of my career, but I still have five or six years ahead of me, and if I stay fit, I can make a comeback,” said the 30-year-old.

Rumman recently featured in Kashmir Premier League (KPL) and contributed to his team's success. However, he has missed the first two matches for Sindh in the ongoing National T20 Cup due to an injury.

Injuries have seriously hampered Rumman's career and had that not been the case, he would have been a regular starter for Pakistan especially considering Hasan Ali's demise.

The youngsters have filled into the best of their abilities but perhaps needed Rumman's character in the dressing room for a much more impactful start to their careers.
