The PCB is looking forward to a strong performance from this young squad as they prepare to compete against tough opponents in both the tri-series and the Asia Cup
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the squad for the Pakistan U19 team’s upcoming tour of the UAE. The team, led by Saad Baig, will participate in a 50-over tri-series featuring Afghanistan and host UAE from November 13 to 26. Matches will be held at the ICC Academy in Dubai.
Following the tri-series, the team will compete in the ACC U19 Asia Cup, set to take place from November 29 to December 8 across Dubai International Stadium and Sharjah International Stadium. The Asia Cup will bring together eight teams for intense competition.
Saad Baig, who previously captained Pakistan’s U19 team in the ACC U19 Asia Cup and ICC U19 World Cup 2024, will lead the 15-player squad. This squad will later be reduced to 14 players for the Asia Cup. Six of the squad members, including Saad, Ali Raza, Haroon Arshad, Mohammad Riazullah, Naveed Ahmed Khan, and Shahzaib Khan, represented Pakistan in the recent U19 World Cup in South Africa. Tayyab Arif, another promising talent, also brings prior experience with Pakistan’s U19 team.
