Saim Ayub aspires to exhibit a fearless style of cricket across all formats for Pakistan. He is part of the 18-member squad selected for the upcoming three-match Test tour of Australia.

During a media interaction in Rawalpindi on Sunday, Saim shared insights into his batting strategy for the longest format of the game.

Expressing his perspective, Saim emphasized the team's commitment to adopting a fearless approach in Australia.

"We will play with a fearless approach in Australia. However, fearless approach doesn't mean to slog blindly. Good bowlers should be given respect," Saim said.

Saim envisions becoming a specialist player across all three formats. He expressed his desire not to be pigeonholed as a specialist in any specific format but rather to evolve into a cricket specialist capable of adapting his game to the demands of different formats.

"I don't want to be considered as a specialist of a particular format. I want to become cricket specialist, which includes all three formats. I always try to adjust my game according to different formats," he said.

"Excited for the challenge ahead"
