Saim Ayub’s medical reports expected this week following his check-up in London
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is anticipating the arrival of opening batter Saim Ayub’s medical reports this week following his check-up in London.
The reports will determine the next course of action, including whether Saim will remain in London for rehabilitation or return to Lahore to complete the recovery process.
Saim Ayub is currently recovering from a fractured right ankle sustained during the second Test against South Africa. While the PCB has not yet confirmed his participation in the upcoming Champions Trophy, his recovery is being closely monitored.
The young opener has been in exceptional form recently, showcasing his talent during international tours. Over the past two months, he has scored three ODI centuries and an unbeaten 98 in T20Is, earning him the Player of the Series title in Pakistan’s historic 3-0 ODI sweep against South Africa.
