The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently announced its squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.

Following the announcement of the squad, the Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim was asked whether we can expect any changes to the squad or not.

In response, he claimed that there are options if any players get injured. However, currently, there are no plans for any change in the initial squad.

"No plan to change squad for T20 WorldCup but we do have options. We hope Fakhar Zaman recovers before T20 WorldCup. It's not important for an opener to be replaced by an opener. Saim Ayub and Sharjeel Khan are in the plans for 18 member squad of T20 WC," said Mohammad Waseem.

It is worth mentioning that Saim Ayub only just burst onto the scene whereas Sharjeel Khan was cast aside due to participation in spot-fixing activities. It remains to be seen whether PCB will take a gamble with either one of the players for the mega-event.
