The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is preparing to unleash spinners Sajid Khan and Nauman Ali in a bid to dominate the West Indies in the upcoming home Test series. The two Test matches in Multan will feature spin-friendly pitches, with the goal of exploiting the conditions to Pakistan's advantage.

Similar to their strategy against England, Pakistan plans to rely on spin bowling to secure victory against the West Indies. Sajid Khan had previously been excluded from the squad due to the conditions in South Africa, with a fast bowler taking his place. However, he is set to return for this series.

Selectors have completed their consultations regarding the side matches and Test squad for the West Indies series. The West Indies team is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on January 6. Pakistan will face the West Indies in the first Test starting on January 17, followed by the second Test beginning on January 25, both in Multan.
