“I was trying to call him but he did not answer. I will ask him what was the reason for writing what he did,” the former batter said.

In the book, Akram wrote that Malik made him wash his clothes while on tour. To which the former batter explained that Akram just had to put a load in the washing machine, saying, “It's not as if he was washing it by hand.”

“If I was narrow minded, I would not have given him the chance to bowl,” Malik further added.

The former batter also added that he will be contacting Akram to inquire why he wrote these things in his book. “I will ask him why he wrote such remarks about me,” Malik finished.
