He further mentioned that there wouldn't be significant changes to the current team combination
Vice-captain Salman Ali Agha spoke to the media ahead of the tri-nation series, where he shared his thoughts on the absence of injured opener Saim Ayub and the team's preparations for the tournament.
"We will certainly miss Saim Ayub, who has been a key player for us," Agha said when asked about the young opener's absence.
"However, we are hopeful that Khushdil Shah will step up and perform in his place as an all-rounder, filling the gap left by Saim," he added.
Agha also discussed the team's overall strategy, saying, "We need to adjust to the conditions, and our goal is to maintain the winning streak and keep up the consistency."
He further mentioned that there wouldn't be significant changes to the current team combination.
"The existing combination is working well, and there’s no need for drastic changes," Agha added.
The vice-captain highlighted the excitement among all players about competing in Pakistan.
"Everyone is eager to play in Pakistan for this tournament, and it’s a great opportunity for us," Agha further added.
Having been an important player in both batting and bowling in domestic cricket, Agha expressed his commitment to continuing his all-around role at the international level.
"I’ve played my role in domestic cricket, and I’ll continue to do the same at the international level," he concluded.
