Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has been appointed as the team director of Quetta Gladiators for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season.
The announcement was made by the team owner, Nadeem Omer.
It’s worth noting that Sarfaraz Ahmed was released by Quetta Gladiators earlier this year after leading the team to victory in the 2019 PSL. Under his leadership, Quetta Gladiators became champions in 2019, and also reached the final in 2016 and 2017.
Sources suggest that former captain Moin Khan will be appointed as the new head coach, replacing Shane Watson.
PSL 10 is set to begin on April 11, with the opening match between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.
