Sarfaraz Ahmed is facing the heat after dismal showing by Quetta Gladiators in their campaign so far in the eighth season of Pakistan Super League (PSL).

However, it looks like the Gladiators and their skipper is trying their best to shy away from answering tough questions from media.

A member of each team usually comes for a post-match media talk to answer questions regarding the match from media.

Out of their seven matches, Gladiators have skipped two of their post-match press conference so far.

Sarfaraz attended the post-match conference, when their team won their only game of this season against Karachi Kings on February 18.

The bowling coach of Gladiators, Umar Gul, who is known for being rather careful with his statements, was sent twice for the post-match talk.

Naveen ul Haq and Mohammad Hasnain appeared for the other two pressers.

On the contrary, Peshawar Zalmi skipper, Babar Azam, was happy to face the Karachi media, who is not always friendly to the Pakistan captain, after their loss to Islamabad United on February 23.

Sarfaraz is often seen in a gloomy mood in the post-match interviews, which are obligatory for captains.

It remains to be seen that how long can Quetta Gladiators management avoid the media as they stand on the brink of elimination from the tournament.
