Men in Green have had a disastrous World Cup campaign so far
Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is of the opinion that Pakistan captain Sarafraz Ahmed will lose his job, if Men in Green don’t improve their performance during the ongong 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup in England and Wales.
Pakistan only have three points from five games during the tournament so far and their chances of making it to the semi-finals are extremely slim.
"I hope they start winning from here onwards. But if they don't get forward and don't get into the semis...I know the emotions with India and Pakistan, I think he'll lose his job. That's what happens in India and Pakistan, when you lose a couple of guys have to go," Harbhajan said according to India Today.
Sharing his thoughts on the video clip regarding Pakistan players presence at a sheesha bar before the game against India, Harbhajan said: "I don't know if it's true, but if there are pictures doing the rounds then it's not the right thing to do before the game. Especially a World Cup game against India. I hope it's not true.”
Despite being trolled extensively on social media for their diet, the Indian star backed the Pakistan team in this regard.
"They are allowed to have burgers, it's their wish what they want to do," he said.
Pakistan will play their next match of the ongoing 2019 World Cup against South Africa on Sunday, June 23.
