Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al Maliki, made a big announcement on Sunday for Pakistan cricket team.

Maliki revealed that if the Pakistan wins the T20 World Cup 2024 this month, they will be honored as royal guests on Hajj next year.

In a heartfelt video message, the Saudi diplomat extended his best wishes to the Pakistani team for the tournament.

"My message to my brothers of the Pakistan cricket team is that God willing, you will win this tournament. The Pakistani people will celebrate the team's success in the World Cup. I am also praying for Pakistan's prosperity and development. After winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, the Pakistani team will be the royal guest on Hajj next year," Maliki said.

It is worth noting that Pakistan is placed in Group A for the World Cup, competing against their long-time rivals India, as well as the hosts United States, Ireland, and Canada. Their campaign kicks off in Dallas on June 6.
