The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for the men's 2024-25 international cricket season.

Pakistan will welcome the West Indies for a two-Test series next year, with matches scheduled in Karachi from January 16-20 and in Multan from January 24-28.

This series will be notable as it marks the West Indies’ first Test tour to Pakistan since November 2006, when Brian Lara led his team against Inzamam-ul-Haq's side.

The last time Pakistan hosted the West Indies for a Test series was in October 2016, which took place in the United Arab Emirates.

The upcoming series will be a part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25. So far, Pakistan has played five Tests across two series against Sri Lanka and Australia, securing two wins and suffering three losses, which places them in fifth position on the points table with 22 points.

India currently tops the table with 74 points from three series, followed by Australia with 90 points from four series, New Zealand with 36 points from three series, and Sri Lanka with 24 points from two series.
