The 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) kicks off today, and Punjab Police have finalized comprehensive security arrangements for the event.

More than 21,000 police officers and personnel will be deployed across Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan to ensure the safety of players and spectators during the tournament.

According to a spokesperson for Punjab Police, over 8,000 officers and personnel will be on duty in Lahore during the matches, 5,000 in Rawalpindi, and another 8,000 in Multan.

Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, stated that the police are fully committed to providing robust security for the players and cricket fans. He emphasized that the matches will be held in a peaceful and secure environment, with smooth traffic flow maintained throughout the events.

The PSL Season 10 officially begins today with a colorful opening ceremony, followed by the tournament’s first match between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.
