The head of the PCB management committee, Najam Sethi, will be leaving for Dubai on Monday for meetings with the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and International Cricket Council (ICC) officials.

Sethi is expected to share Pakistan's perspective on the forthcoming cricket events, which includes the Asia Cup and ICC World Cup this year, and the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.

Sethi is also likely to convey a strong and blunt stance to the ACC members about hosting the Asia Cup in September. The head of PCB has come to the realization that tough decisions need to be made regarding the Asia Cup.

He is not willing to tolerate any further delays from the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) in terms of finalizing the schedule and the hybrid model proposed by PCB, under which India would play their matches at a neutral venue and all other matches will take place in Pakistan.

Sethi is expected to take a firm stance on this matter and wants to ensure that the issue is resolved quickly.
