Pakistan's leg-spinner Shadab Khan has equaled former captain Shahid Afridi's record for most wickets in T20 internationals for the Men in Green.

Shadab became Pakistan's joint-highest wicket-taker in T20Is, along with Shahid Afridi, after taking two wickets in the T20 World Cup match against Bangladesh on Sunday at the Adelaide Oval.

Shadab has 97 wickets in 82 matches, while Afridi needed 98 appearances to reach the same milestone.

With 85 wickets each, Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal are third and fourth on the list. Haris Rauf, meanwhile, is in fifth place with 70 scalps.

It should be noted that Bangladesh set Pakistan a target of 128 runs during the match.

Pacer Shaheen Afridi continues to shine with the ball, claiming 4-22 in four overs.

Bangladesh's top scorer was opener Najmul Hossain Shanto, who scored 54 runs in 48 balls.
