Pakistan's white-ball vice-captain Shadab Khan has voiced his opinion regarding the differences between two captains he has featured under — Sarfaraz Ahmed and Babar Azam.

While speaking on Twitter Spaces, Shadab also explained how he aspires to play Test cricket as the format's charm is unmatchable.

"I want to play Test cricket but to be honest I think I can't take my place in the Test squad right now. I have not played first-class cricket for quite a while but I want to make a comeback in the premium format of the game because there is nothing more charming than playing Test cricket for your country," the cricketer said.

Sarfaraz Ahmed had a strong bond with many of the current squad players as he helped groom them. This is one of the main reasons why the former captain is popular amongst the current crop of players.

Speaking about his captaincy, Shadab said that he thoroughly enjoyed his time under Sarfaraz and proceeded to point out the major difference between their approach.

"Sarfaraz was an active captain on the field whereas Babar Azam does not depict his emotions much and stays calm. He said that Babar got under pressure in his early phase of captaincy but he is well settled now," Shadab added.

Jokingly, Shadab also added that Babar has lost his smile ever since he took on the responsibility of being the skipper.
