Shadab Khan has flown to England to rejoin Yorkshire Cricket Club for T20 Blast following the completion of the three-match ODI series against West Indies.
The all-rounder returned to Pakistan due to feature for Pakistan against the touring West Indies side. He returned home alongside pacer Haris Rauf, who was also part of Yorkshire's squad.
During the series against West Indies, Shadab's abilities were on display as he took some spectacular catches and made solid contributions with both ball and bat.
The 23-year-old had already obtained the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the PCB to take part in the T20 Blast prior to the series against West Indies.
Speaking about Shadab, Darren Gough - who is Yorkshire's interim managing director - said that Shadab is a great addition to the already existing squad.
"Shadab is an amazing player, he can bat as high as three, which he did in the PSL, or as low as six, seven or eight to really strengthen our lower order," he said.
