In a sensational comeback, Shadab Khan displayed his immense skill and resilience as he secured a remarkable four-wicket haul for Sussex in their T20 Vitality Blast match against Gloucestershire. Despite sporting a bandaged left hand due to a recent injury, Shadab showcased his determination to contribute to his team's success.

Having missed the previous match against Kent due to the injury he sustained in a Hampshire game, Shadab was eager to make an impact upon his return. Sussex got off to a fantastic start as Aristides Karvelas rattled Gloucestershire's top order, reducing them to a precarious 15-3 after just three overs. However, Grant Roelofsen and Oliver Price fought back with a crucial 50-run partnership to stabilize the innings.

Undeterred by the situation, Shadab unleashed his bowling prowess and swiftly dismantled Gloucestershire's resistance. Despite his bandaged hand, he accounted for the dismissal of the dangerous Roelofsen, who had been the top scorer with a rapid 41 off 27 balls. In the following over, Shadab claimed the scalp of Price, further disrupting Gloucestershire's progress.

Shadab's impact continued in the 13th over when he clean bowled his compatriot Zafar Gohar for 10 runs. The leg-spinner's relentless pursuit of wickets saw him complete his four-wicket haul in the same over by dismissing Tom Price. Gloucestershire found themselves struggling at 93-7 by the end of the 13th over, courtesy of Shadab's exceptional bowling display.

As the match progressed, Gloucestershire's innings crumbled under the pressure exerted by Shadab and his teammates. Ultimately, they were bowled out for a total of 140 runs. Shadab Khan concluded his spell with exceptional figures of 4/27 in his four overs, once again highlighting his effectiveness as a bowler in the T20 format.
