This feat was previously achieved thrice during Pakistan's domestic T20 Cup
Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan and pacer Waqas Maqsood have registered a new HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) record during the 13th match of season seven against Lahore Qalandars.
The duo took four wickets each and became the first duo in the tournament's history to achieve the feat.
Shadab registered figures of 4-20 in his four overs and took the crucial scalps of Fakhar Zaman, Abdullah Shafique, Mohammad Hafeez, and Phil Salt.
While left-arm fast bowler Waqas Maqsood registered figures of 4-35 in his four overs and was brilliant at the death.
This feat was previously achieved thrice during Pakistan's domestic T20 Cup. Zahid Mahmood and Muhammad Hafeez achieved this feat for the Southern Punjab against Sindh in the Pakistan T20 Cup 2019.
Kamran Ghulam and Fazal Rabi achieved this feat for Abbottabad against Dera Murad Jamali in the 2014-15 National T20 Cup.
It must be noted that United ended up on the losing side as Qalandars defended a 175-run target. United were restricted to 166/5 and they lost the match by eight runs.
