An enthusiastic supporter decided to invade the ground during the second ODI between Pakistan and West Indies at Multan Cricket Stadium.
The incident occurred during the 39th over of the first innings when Shadab Khan was facing Anderson Phillip. The fan interrupted the play, came and saluted Shadab before hugging him.
In response, Shadab remained calm and humbled as he hugged the fan back before he was taken away by the security forces.
According to reports, the fan entered the ground through Wasim Akram enclave, which highlights a security blip. The security forces also failed to escort the fan out quickly as they reached the scene late.

It should be noted that Pakistan's series against West Indies is being played under strict security as 6,000 security personnel have been deployed during match days in and around the stadium.
Reports further added that the fan was escorted out of the stadium and was later interrogated by the local SHO. However, it is expected that the fan will be released soon.
