Newly appointed Pakistan skipper, Shadab Khan, has appealed to fans to support the young and talented players during the upcoming three-match T20I series against Afghanistan scheduled in Sharjah.
Shadab expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to lead the national team, and promised to play aggressive and progressive cricket.

"A dream for any Pakistani to captain the national cricket team. Can’t thank Allah enough. Really excited to lead this young team, loads of talent. We will try to play aggressive and progressive cricket. Remember to back the youngsters, they are our future," he wrote.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has given rest to several main players, including Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Rizwan, and Fakhar Zaman.
The national team has included several young players, such as Saim Ayub, Azam Khan, Ihsanullah, and Zaman Khan, who performed well in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League season 8.
Shadab hopes that the fans will rally behind these young players and support them in their cricket journey.
