Pakistan Shaheens' coach Mohammad Masroor has attributed the team's victory over India in the Emerging Asia Cup final to the inclusion of two players who were rested in the group stage match against the same opponents.

Pakistan won the final by a massive margin of 128 runs, with Sufiyan Muqeem and Tayyab Tahir both playing a major role. Masroor said that these two players were the "surprise package" for India, and that their inclusion in the team made a big difference.

He also explained that Pakistan had rested Muqeem and Tahir in the group stage match because they had already qualified for the semi-finals.

"We didn't play our full strength team in group stage match against India because we had already qualified for the semis. We rested both Sufiyan Muqeem and Tayyab Tahir, they proved to be the surprise package for India today," Masroor said.

Pakistan was in a difficult position after losing five wickets for just 187 runs. However, Tahir scored a brilliant century, hitting 108 runs in 71 balls with 12 fours and 4 sixes. His strike rate of 152.11 was impressive.

India had a good start in the second innings, scoring 64 runs without losing a wicket in the first 7 overs. However, Arshad Iqbal removed Sudharsan for just 29 runs, and Sufiyan Muqeem took three important wickets, including Abhishek Sharma, Yash Dhull, and Harshit Rana. Muqeem conceded 66 runs in 10 overs.

Tahir's century and Muqeem's bowling proved to be the key factors in their victory.
