Shahid Afridi posts appreciation post for Multan Sultans after their gesture

Last season champions Multan Sultans have shown a great gesture by sending a gift towards their former player Shahid Afridi.

Afridi, who was transferred to Quetta Gladiators, represented Multan Sultans in HBL PSL 6

"Thank you Multan Sultans for this wonderful gift. Spent three memorable seasons with Multan and am proud of the fact that we finished last season as champions! Best of luck to Alamgir Sb. and the team. Will always be praying for their success," wrote Afridi on Twitter.

The gift contained a brand new iPhone with Multan Sultans branding along with a memorable picture of the entire Sultans' squad lifting the trophy.

It was previously revealed that Afridi shifted to Quetta Gladiators at the request of owner Nadeem Omer as Multan Sultans wanted to retain the superstar.

However, Sultans granted Afridi the wish to play his last PSL season from Quetta as his transfer request was granted.
