Fast bowler Khurram Shahzad delivered a standout performance, claiming six wickets, and was further complemented by Omair Bin Yousaf's century, significantly bolstering Pakistan Shaheens' position against Bangladesh A.

On the third day of their four-day match in Darwin, Pakistan Shaheens declared their second innings at 226 for 3, setting Bangladesh A daunting target of 428 runs to chase. By the end of the day’s play, Bangladesh A had reached 20 runs without losing any wickets.

Earlier in the day, Bangladesh A resumed their first innings at 203 for 4, but due to Shahzad's exceptional bowling, they could only add 63 runs, finishing at 266. Shahzad took 6 wickets for 72 runs, with Mohammad Ali contributing two more dismissals.

In their second innings, Pakistan Shaheens, holding a 201-run lead from the first innings, lost Haseebullah for a duck and captain Sahibzada Farhan for 8 runs. However, Omair Bin Yousaf and Mubasir Khan forged a crucial 177-run partnership for the third wicket.

Mubasir Khan narrowly missed his fourth first-class century, scoring 95 with eight boundaries and one six. Meanwhile, Omair Bin Yousaf played a stellar innings, remaining unbeaten on 100, with 6 fours and 2 sixes.
