Mitchell Marsh was named player of the match in the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 whereas Pat Cummins is currently leading Australia's Test team
After Australia's ODI skipper Aaron Finch voiced his opinion about seeing Babar Azam play in the Big Bash League (BBL), Pakistan star Shan Masood has also named his candidates which he would like to see wearing Sultan's jersey.
Shan, who led Multan Sultans to Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in the sixth edition, stated he wants to see Pat Cummins and Mitchell Marsh to represent Multan Sultans next season.
The Sultans' social media account posted a question about which Australian player would the fans want to see play for them. The image attached included Marcus Stoinis and Cameron Green.

However, the franchise superstar Shan opted for the name of Mitchell Marsh who played a pivotal role in Australia's success at the ICC T20 World Cup final.
He was later named player of the match for his match-winning innings of 77* from 50 deliveries which included six boundaries and four maximums.
In addition to that, he also named Australian captain and pacer Pat Cummins.

The PSL 8 is set to follow a new play acquisition model based on indications from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja as the drafting phase will be replaced by an auction model.
However, it remains to be seen whether it will be implemented or not as the franchises are yet to unanimously agree to the shift in player acquisition model.
