Pakistan’s new bowling coach, Shaun Tait’s arrival in Pakistan is delayed due to his Father’s demise, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Tuesday.

In a statement released, PCB expressed their condolences to Shaun Tait on his father’s demise and shared that his arrival in Pakistan has been delayed.

“PCB condoles the passing of bowling coach Shaun Tait’s father, due to which his arrival in Pakistan has been delayed. Shaun’s new arrival date will be confirmed in due course,” the statement read.

Earlier, Tait's arrival in Pakistan was delayed as his travel documents were incomplete.

It must be noted that Tait will be associated with the Men in Green for the upcoming 12 months. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the appointments of coaches while naming squad for the Test series against Australia.

Mohammad Yousuf will serve as batting coach for the Australia series while Saqlain Mushtaq has been named as head coach for one year.
