Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar has called out Australian cricketer Marcus Stoinis for disrespecting the game of cricket by pointing fingers at Mohammad Hasnain during a game in The Hundred.

Stoinis, who was removed by Hasnain, gestured that Hasnain was 'chucking' while making the long way back to the pavilion.

The Pakistan youngster had already undergone a remodeled action after being called out by the referees during a BBL game earlier this year.

His new action was given a green signal by the PCB and ICC both earlier. However, Stoinis still felt the need to bring it up which did not sit well with Shoaib Akhtar.

Taking his frustration to social media, Akhtar said that what Stoinis did was nothing but a 'shameful gesture.'

"Shameful gesture by Marcus Stoinis regarding bowling action of Mohammad Hasnain during The Hundred 2022. How dare you do such things? Of course, ICC stays quiet about them. No player should be allowed to do such a thing if someone's been cleared already," wrote Akhtar.
