Shoaib Malik comes out in support of Hafeez, Wahab Riaz

All-rounder Shoaib Malik has voiced his support for Pakistan's team director, Mohammad Hafeez, and chief selector, Wahab Riaz, following the Men in Green's 3-0 whitewash against Australia in the Test series. This marked Hafeez and Wahab's first assignment since assuming their new roles with the Pakistan cricket team.

Malik expressed support for his former teammates, Hafeez and Wahab, stating, “Dear Hafeez and Wahab you are doing a great job, you guys have been discussing a lot about our A Team tours, I believe our A team is ready when it comes down to ODI & Test cricket. Now let's make a national team out of these boys.”

Looking ahead, Pakistan is set to face New Zealand in a five-match T20I series scheduled from January 12 to 21, taking place in Auckland, Hamilton, Dunedin, and Christchurch.
