Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik is set to participate in the upcoming World Masters League T20, which will kick off at the iconic Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in Durban, South Africa, during the first week of August.

The tournament will feature six teams: Indraprasth Warriors, Gulf Superstars, Sydney Spartans, Colombo Titans, Lahore Lions, and Caribbean Pirates.

These teams will showcase prominent players from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, West Indies, England, and other countries. The likes of Herschelle Gibbs will be in action, alongside notable former players such as India's Munaf Patel, Sri Lanka's Angelo Perera and Dhamika Prasad, and many others.

Reflecting on his participation, Malik expressed his excitement, stating that the World Masters League T20 brings together some of the finest cricketers globally, promising an event full of thrilling matches.

"I'm incredibly excited to join the World Masters League T20. This tournament brings together some of the greatest cricketers from around the world, and I'm looking forward to taking the field with them. It's going to be a fantastic event full of thrilling matches,” Malik said.

Echoing Malik’s sentiments, Rajeev Mishra, the CEO of the World Masters League, shared his enthusiasm for the event.

"We are thrilled to bring the World Masters League T20 to the iconic Kingsmead Cricket Stadium. This venue has a rich history and will provide the perfect backdrop for some of the greatest cricketing talent to shine,” Mishra said.
