Sikandar Raza, Zimbabwe's knowledgeable all-rounder, has praised Pakistan's bowling attack, calling it one of the best in the ongoing T20 World Cup.

Raza made these comments speaking on a local media news program. "Pakistan, in my opinion, had one of the best attacks." It is, without a doubt, one of the best attacks in the tournament. England, Australia, and India all have potent offenses. "However, I believe Pakistan has the appropriate balance of seamers," Sikandar remarked.

When asked about his team's preparation for the Pakistan encounter, the 36-year-old said Zimbabwe is ready for the challenge in Perth.

“I am looking forward to this game. We've had some perfect games in the past against Pakistan. Now that we are on the board with the point, hopefully, a win tomorrow can take us forward in the tournament,” said Raza.

Sikandar lauded Pakistan openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan for their consistency at the top of the order.

“Pakistan has always been an extreme bowling side. And, having said that, with Rizwan and Babar at the top and how they have performed over the years if I'm not mistaken, these two have the world record of the most number of runs scored as a partnership.

“So, I think Pakistan got the right mixture of cricketers for bowlers and batters to chase down or to defend any sort of total. So, it's quite an important and exciting match, and we look forward to it together.”

Sikandar had a fantastic 2022, assisting Zimbabwe in winning games with both bat and ball. In the event's opening round, the right-hander scored 82 points against Ireland and 40 points against Scotland to help his team qualify for the Super 12.

When asked about his recent form and personal goals for the match, the batting all-rounder said he does not like to make bold statements.

“I'm never a big guy to answer that,” he said when asked if he was confident about continuing his form.

“What will be, will be. I've done the work in the nets and leave the rest to Allah [Almighty] hands. I've done all I can to give myself a chance to do well. If I do well, Alhamdulillah [all praise is due to Allah Almighty]. If I don't do well still, Alhamdulillah, [because] it's something out of my hand. What is in my hand is to work hard, and I've done that,” he said.
