Sir Ronnie Flanagan, the Independent Chair of the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU), is set to retire at the end of October 2024.

Flanagan has served in this role since May 2010, taking over from Lord Condon. During his tenure, he has provided strong leadership and made important improvements to protect cricket from corruption.

The ICC has begun the search for Flanagan's successor. A recommendation for the new Independent Chair will be presented during the ICC Board meetings in October.

Flanagan's contributions have been vital in enhancing the integrity of the sport, and he will be missed as the ACU continues its important work.
