Sri Lanka has named their squads for the upcoming white-ball series against New Zealand, with Charith Asalanka set to lead the team in both ODIs and T20Is. The highly anticipated series will see the island nation fielding experienced lineups, many of whom were key players in their recent home series victories over India and the West Indies.

The two T20I games will take place on November 9th and 10th, while the three-match ODI series will be held on November 13th, 17th, and 19th, 2024. The series will be played at two venues: the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium will host the first three matches, while the final two ODIs will be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

Sri Lanka's squad for both formats features several familiar faces from their recent successful campaigns. The squad reflects a blend of youth and experience, with players like Kusal Mendis, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Maheesh Theekshana expected to play pivotal roles.

The two teams last met in a two-match Test series in September, where Sri Lanka emerged victorious with a 2-0 sweep. Following that, New Zealand traveled to India to continue their World Test Championship campaign.
