South Africa has announced its squad for the first match of the Tri-Nation series, which will begin on February 8, featuring Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa.

South Africa will play their first match of the Tri-Nation series against New Zealand on February 10 at Gaddafi Stadium, and the squad for this opening match has been revealed.

In the first match against New Zealand, Temba Bavuma will lead the team, and six players have been included in the squad for the first time. Additional players will be announced following the elimination of the SA T20 League.

It is worth mentioning that the complete South African squad will be announced after the final of the SA T20 League on February 9.

Meanwhile, the South African squad will depart for Lahore this evening, but Keshav Maharaj and Anrich Nortje will miss the first match as both players are scheduled to leave for Pakistan on February 9. Maharaj and Klaasen are expected to join the team before the match against Pakistan on February 12.
