Squad submission deadline for ICC Champions Trophy 2025 announced

The deadline for teams to submit the names of players for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has been announced. According to an ICC spokesperson, the participating teams will need to submit their initial 15-member squads by January 12. 

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be hosted by Pakistan, will begin on February 19. However, teams will have the opportunity to make changes to their squads, and they will be required to submit their final 15-player rosters by February 12.

The tournament, set to take place from February 19 to March 9, will be held at three venues in Pakistan: Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi. India's matches will be held at neutral venues in the UAE.

The eight participating teams are divided into two groups. Group A consists of Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while Group B includes Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa.

Pakistan will kick off the tournament with a match against New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi, followed by a highly anticipated clash with India on February 23 in Dubai.
