Sri Lanka A cricket team has decided to cut short their tour of Pakistan mid-series and will depart for Colombo this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Shaheens players have also returned to their respective homes following the abrupt conclusion of the series.

The series between Pakistan Shaheens and Sri Lanka A was being held in Islamabad. However, the remaining matches were postponed due to the prevailing situation in the capital city.

In an official statement, both cricket boards announced that the new schedule for the remaining matches would be decided and communicated at a later date.
