The Sri Lankan cricket team is set to welcome the West Indies for a bilateral series comprising three T20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals in October.

The T20I series will kick off on October 13th in Dambulla, with all three matches scheduled to be played at the same venue. Following the T20I series, the ODI series will take place in Kandy from October 20th to 26th.

Sri Lanka will enter the series buoyed by their recent successes, including an ODI series win over India, a Test match victory against England at The Oval, and a strong performance in the Test series against New Zealand. While the West Indies have faced their share of challenges in Test cricket, they recently clinched a 3-0 T20I series win over South Africa at home.

In the ODI arena, the two teams are evenly matched, with West Indies holding a slight edge with 31 wins compared to Sri Lanka's 30. In T20Is, Sri Lanka has a narrow advantage with eight wins to West Indies' seven.
