Opener Yasir Khan was the star of the innings, smashing a brilliant century off 57 balls, featuring 7 sixes and 5 fours. Jahandad Khan remained unbeaten on 22 runs, while skipper Mohammad Haris contributed 21 runs. The Stallions posted an impressive total of 199 for the loss of five wickets in their 20 overs.
For the Markhors, Akif Javed claimed two wickets, while Mohammad Nawaz, Imran Junior, and Faizan picked up one wicket each.
In response, the Markhors struggled against a disciplined Stallions bowling attack. Mohammad Faizan top-scored with 43 runs, while captain Iftikhar Ahmed and opener Fakhar Zaman managed 22 and 20 runs, respectively. The Stallions’ Mohammad Ali took three wickets, with Jahandad Khan and Usman Tariq bagging two each, sealing a comprehensive victory.
At the post-match ceremony, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar distributed prizes among the players. The Stallions were awarded a prize of 15 million rupees for their triumph.
