Former South African fast bowler Dale Steyn recently shared his excitement for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, revealing his top five favorite bowlers to watch out for in the mega tournament.

In a short video released by ICC, Steyn mentioned India's Mohammed Siraj, South Africa's Kagiso Rabada, Pakistan's Shaheen Shah Afridi, New Zealand's Trent Boult, and England's Mark Wood as the bowlers he is eagerly looking forward to seeing in action during the tournament.

Specifically, Steyn emphasized his anticipation for a thrilling battle when Shaheen Shah Afridi takes on Rohit Sharma, describing Afridi's bowling as a captivating spectacle.

"Shaheen Shah Afridi's bowling will be a sight to behold, especially when he faces Rohit Sharma," Steyn said.

Steyn expressed his belief that Mark Wood, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Trent Boult, Mohammed Siraj, and Rabada are all expected to stand out in the World Cup with their exceptional performances.

Notably, Afridi has participated in 12 ODIs this year, securing 24 wickets at an average of 22.04 for Pakistan.
