India and Pakistan's T20 World Cup 2022 campaign gets underway as the two Asian powerhouses face off in a Super Sunday match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
India's recent games against Pakistan haven't been the best. In large part, India didn't make it to the Asia Cup final in 2022 because they lost to Babar Azam's team. Misbah thinks that how India did in the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup last year will weigh heavily on their shoulders.

Recent performances by India against Pakistan haven't been great. India's failure to advance to the Asia Cup 2022 championship game was significantly influenced by their loss to Babar Azam's team. The performance at the T20 World Cup last year and the Asia Cup result, in Misbah's opinion, will weigh heavily on India.
"Usually, the pressure used to be on Pakistan in world cups. But this time, it will be in India. In the last world cup, they were out of the tournament. Same in the Asia cup. India will be under huge huge pressure," Misbah said on A Sports.
"If Pakistan lands the first punch - either Shaheen's over or the opening partnership, it might be tough for India. Who takes that first initiative will be important. India's comfort zone is to bowl first and chase. Same for Pakistan in recent times. If the bad weather is around, both will want to bowl first. The question will be there in front of them what to do if there is a full 20-overs match," he added.
Wasim Akram, a legendary Pakistani pacer, disagrees with Misbah and believes India has an advantage over Pakistan in this match.
At the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, the T20 World Cup match between India and Australia will take place in front of 1 lakh spectators.
