Pakistan will face off against Zimbabwe in their second match of the T20 World Cup today at the Optus Stadium, with one change expected in their playing XI.

The Men in Green were defeated by the arch-rivals India after a close game, while the match between Zimbabwe and South Africa was called off due to rain, and both teams shared a point each.

Pakistan gave away 48 runs in the last three overs, which became the reason for their loss against India. However, to strengthen their bowling attack, the management will plan to make a different strategy against Zimbabwe.

As per the sources, Mohammad Wasim Jr will be included in the squad for today's match.

Haider Ali and Asif Ali are struggling to score big runs with their bat, so one of them could be replaced by Wasim Jr, who can also bat if needed.

This would enable Pakistan, led by Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Mohammad Wasim Jr., to launch an all-out express-pace attack.

Pakistan’s likely XI: Babar Azam (c), Mohammad Rizwan (wicketkeeper), Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Asif Ali/ Haider Ali, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf.
