Remaining matches are unlikely to begin on June 1
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises will stay in three hotels during the remaining matches of season six in Abu Dhabi.
According to sources, two teams will stay at each hotel, which is approved by the company incharge, Restrata, of maintaining the bio-secure bubble. Incase of any positive cases within a team, only two franchises will be quarantined, at the same time, while the rest can continue playing the tournament.
It must be noted that, previously, only one hotel was supposed to be booked for the matches in Karachi before it was shifted to Abu Dhabi.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was unable to successful conduct the league, on the last two occasions due to Covid-19, which is the reason why a foreign company is hired to take care of arrangements in the upcoming matches.
The PSL 6 was postponed after multiple Covid-19 cases, among players and support staff, on March 4. The remaining matches are bound to resume on June 1, with the final scheduled for June 20, but that could change due to a mandatory 10-day quarantine in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). If special permission is not given, it would be nearly impossible to start the matches on June 1.
PCB is likely to schedule double-headers on a single day inorder to save time, as Pakistan team has to leave for England tour, and conclude the event by June 20. The matches will be played behind closed doors.
