Ten members of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) staff have tested positive for Covid-19, a cricket board official confirmed to this correspondent.

According to details, ten Covid-19 positive cases have been identified so far at the PCB headquarters at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The cases mostly involve low-tier employees. 

Last week, the board conducted Covid-19 tests of all the staff after four positive cases emerged. 

After receiving the reports of all the cases, there are a total of ten Covid-19 positives. They are quarantining at their homes and instructions have already been issued in the PCB headquarters to strictly follow the virus protocols.

It must be noted that Lahore will host 19 matches of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven from February 10.
