Asia Cup 2022: Expected starting-XI of Pakistan against India

According to reports, despite his inclusion, Hasan Ali will not be made a part of the playing XI against India

Pakistan has been hit with bad luck ahead of the Asia Cup 2022 as two premium pacers, Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Wasim Jnr., have both been ruled out of the tournament after suffering injuries.

Earlier, Mohammad Hasnain was identified as Shaheen's replacement over Hasan Ali.

However, due to Wasim's absence, Hasan Ali was forced to be a part of Pakistan's Asia Cup squad despite underperforming for the majority part of this year.

According to reports, despite his inclusion, Hasan Ali will not be made a part of the playing XI against India.

The selection committee has not been in favor of Hasan Ali due to his performances and Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Mohammad Hasnain are likely to be identified as the pace trio to come up against the arch-rivals.
