The team includes several uncapped players, such as the promising pacer Mayank Yadav who impressed during the Indian Premier League 2024. Harshit Rana and Nitish Kumar Reddy are the other uncapped players selected for the series.

The squad also features the return of Jitesh Sharma as the wicketkeeper, joining Sanju Samson as the other wicketkeeping option.
