The Men in Green went wicket-less in the first session before losing the plot in the 70’s
Twitter erupted after Pakistan’s prolific batsman Babar Azam played a shocking shot that led to his early exit in the first Test match against Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane on Thursday.
The Men in Green went wicket-less in the first session before losing the plot in the 70’s. Babar had been in stellar form in the lead up to the international encounter and a lot was expected from the right-handed batsman.
Babar however played an uncharacteristically bad shot, reaching to a wide delivery and edging the ball to first slip, which led to his departure after scoring one run with Pakistan in trouble at 78 runs for the loss of four wickets.
Uncharacteristic Babar Azam

Babar Azam: okaypic.twitter.com/Ct7ui9pSca
Widely considered as one of the fastest rising stars in the game, Babar’s comparisons with India’s captain Virat Kohli stem up every time a record is broken or when, like in this case, Babar has a brain implosion.
As expected Babar Azam fails, Australian pitches ain't a joke to score runs in tests! You can never be the same as you're in the limited overs cricket in Australia unless you're Virat Kohli.

Twitter was filled with comments about the star batsman’s brain fade when the lights were squarely on him to deliver in a crunch situation.

Babar :- pic.twitter.com/Nv2zfbfj2T
Can the Pakistani cricket pundits for once & all stop calling Babar Azam aka Bobby a World Class act? For a man averaging in 30s shouldn't be called anything. He is good T20 player and that's about it. Let's not insult Test cricket, please.#TestCricket #PAKvsAUS @TheRealPCB

Babar played an extremely brash shot should have settled down first

i already told you babar can't survive in test matches with this approach of playing flashy shots and hard drives.

u need to learn the art of leaving the ball
That is why do not compare Babar Azam with Virat Kohli😁😁😁
