West Indies bowlers Matthew Forde and Obed McCoy have arrived in Pakistan to join Islamabad United's squad for the remaining matches of the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

After participating in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 final, where Fortune Barishal emerged victorious against Comilla Victorians, the duo traveled from Dhaka to Karachi.

During their BPL stint, McCoy showcased his bowling prowess by taking 12 wickets in eight matches for Fortune Barishal, while Forde contributed with 10 wickets for Comilla Victorians in the same number of matches.

Currently, Islamabad United, the two-time PSL champions, find themselves in the fourth position on the points table, securing two victories in six games.

Their upcoming challenge is against Peshawar Zalmi, scheduled to take place on March 4 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Earlier on Saturday, West Indies batsman Johnson Charles also joined the Multan Sultans' squad ahead of their clash with Karachi Kings on Sunday.
