Two reasons why Bangladesh Test series win against Pakistan is significant

Bangladesh has achieved a historic milestone by completing a whitewash of Pakistan in their recent Test series.

With a six-wicket victory in the second Test at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh secured a 2-0 series win, marking their third away series triumph in their cricketing history.

This series win is notable for two notable reasons:

- This is only Bangladesh's third away series win, following their 2-0 triumph over the West Indies in 2009 and a 1-0 victory against Zimbabwe in 2021.
- It is only the second time Bangladesh has won more than one Test on an away tour, with the previous instance being their 2018 series against the West Indies.

On the final day, Bangladesh chased a target of 185 with composure. Opener Zakir Hasan set a solid foundation with a quick 40 off 39 balls, while Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mominul Haque contributed 38 and 34 runs, respectively.
